Patterned cellular grill systems

HyperGrill metal tiles are inspired by cellular constructions found in nature. The HyperGrill process approximates the efficiency of cellular compositions in biological surfaces, as well as creating a codified system of patterns that can generate endless tile shapes from a fixed number of sequences.

The automated fabrication of these flat, perforated surfaces utilizing lasers or water jets allows for the creation of a variety of repetitive (periodic), nonrepetitive (aperiodic), and random designs that can be customized to different applications.
