100% plantable paper
Eden’s Paper is a gift-wrapping paper that may be planted to grow vegetables after its first use. It is made from 100% recycled paper, and the seeds are embedded on the back of the wrapping paper in seven layers of biodegradable tissue. Each sheet of the paper is printed with colorful images of the fruits or vegetables whose seeds it carries.
The layers of printed paper and layers of tissue containing the seeds are held together through an embossing process. Each layer of paper is interlocked with the one above it, sandwiching the seeds between them. Since the seeds are held within the paper, no glues are necessary to bind the layers together. The ink is also vegetable-based, making an entirely biocompatible product.
