Water harvesting fabric

VapourGuard is a dual-extruded polyethylene material used for dams and reservoirs to harvest and store water. Small drainage holes allow rainwater to be collected through the material, and the evaporation rate through the material is under 2 percent. The light top surface of VapourGuard reflects the sun’s heat away from the water, while the dark underside prevents light penetrating the surface, thus inhibiting algae growth in the water. The material has a weld edge to join sections of the cover together to create strong welded seams for covering expanses of water, and air born debris is substantially reduced as a result.
