Intumescent glazing system

SGG Swissflam is a fire resistant and fully insulated glazing system produced from sheets of multi-laminated safety glass, separated by clear intumescent layers. In the event of a fire, the intumescent layers turn opaque and expand to form an insulating heat shield, blocking the transmission of radiated and conducted heat. The layers and seals provide an integral barrier against smoke, flames, and hot toxic gasses.
