Prismatic film lighting

The Sugarcube lamp uses a special prismatic film that separates white light into the visible spectrum of colors. A linear fluorescent tube lamp is fitted to run diagonally from one corner to another. Because the distance betwen the light source and the prismatic film changes inside the cube, the Sugarcube creates the effect of colors separating and then recombining at the source.
