Fused glass with LED backlight

Solaris Glass is a wall-mounted “lightwork” inspired by the beauty of sunlight streaming through stained-glass windows. The result of a collaboration between Los Angeles-based Visopia and padLAb, Solaris Glass includes a backlight that projects changing colored illumination through a handmade, fused-glass panel. The lighting can be set to run through a default 24-hour color cycle, or it can be fixed using provided controls for hue, saturation, and brightness. Solaris Glass can be repeated in a tiled module in order to cover a large surface.
