Shredded and compressed bamboo over solid bamboo substrate

Made from bamboo-strand technology, Smith and Fong’s Plyboo Neapolitan is a durable, stable, and sustainable alternative to exotic hardwoods like zebra wood and ebony. Made from light and dark strands of shredded bamboo with a nonurea formaldehyde adhesive over multiple plies of cross-laminated bamboo, Neapolitan panels are extremely dense and stable.

Suitable for nearly any surface or plywood application, Plyboo Neapolitan is sold presanded and unfinished as a panel, and prefinished or unfinished as flooring. The product may be stained or clear coated and does not require edge banding. The Neapolitan striped pattern is rendered randomly during fabrication.
