Human hair can serve as an alternative to more exotic material resources like tortoise shells and tropical wood. Hair Highway is a project inspired by the Silk Road—where now, hair is the commodity. The firm has crafted hair-based designs and technologies in a collection of Shanghai-Deco objects.
