Decorative wall light

Burstlight is light that appears to explode from the wall surface on which it is mounted. Inspired by spiral growth patterns in nature, Burstlight is based on a radial sequence of identical elements crafted with anodized aluminum. These elements generate provocative visual rhythms and intensities when arrayed in combination, and the concealed light source imparts an enigmatic quality to the radiating spines.

Burstlight represents Korban/Flaubert’s attempt to explore the idea of a sudden event, such as the moment of a spark, ignition, or explosion. By embodying the spirit of an abrupt release of energy from a point in space, Burstlight adds a visual element of surprise to an interior space.
