Air filled rubber pad

Developed by designer Fabrice Covelli, Aire Pad applies Fproduct’s gel encapsulation technology to non-compressed air trapped within a strong flexible skin.

The enclosed air provides an efficient and comfortable cushioning effect; meanwhile, the flexible skin retains its sleek appearance after pressure is released. Products made with this technology are lighter, faster to produce, and less expensive than gel filled items.

Rubber and silicon are ideal materials for this application, and the color, mold pattern and embossed design may be customized. Although the skin has good cut resistance, the material should not be installed in high-traffic public areas.
