Multidimensional kiln cast glass

With the increased sophistication of glass-fabrication technologies, flatness and clarity have typically been the most sought-after traits in architectural glass. However, glass is increasingly explored as a multidimensional, irregular, and textured material. Enlarging the profile and depth of glass enhances its structural properties in addition to its aesthetic complexity.

Joel Berman Glass Studios’ 3D Studio Line consists of a variety of three-dimensional, handcrafted glass panels. Corrugated, Profile, and Trio glass are based on pure geometrical sine-wave and sawtooth profiles. Boards, Bricks, and Sticks represent repeating architectural building blocks. Arrigado and Otto convey sensuous, organic shapes akin to water or crystalline structures.
