Pulp Studio’s SentryGlas Expressions is a computer-controlled digital imaging system for decorative glass, made with a UV resistant ink that will not fade in the sun like other ink jet technologies. Unlike ceramic frit, SentryGlas Expressions provides many more color and image resolution options. Solid colors remain consistent, and gradient tones hold just as in the original digital image.
SentryGlas Expressions allows for the creation of a wide range of transparency levels within a single laminated pane. It is possible to have solid colors or high-density photography in one part of the image and complete clarity elsewhere. It is also possible to screen images for an ephemeral quality. Pulp Studio can generate art proofs in a few days and when alterations are needed, image content can be modified quickly.
