Spun-polyethylene honeycomb lights

Molo Design’s Textile Softlight is an expandable floor lamp made entirely of sheets of spun polyethylene fiber that utilize an expandable honeycomb structure. Light is absorbed and contained within the fixture’s layers, giving off a warm inner glow. The facets created within the lamp’s honeycomb geometry catch highlights and cast shadows to form a unique pattern. The shape of Softlight creates opportunities for playfulness through the lampís ability to change. By lightly pushing down on the top of the lamp or by gently compressing or pulling on the circumference of the lamp’s base, Softlight’s form slightly changes.

The Softlight is available in two sizes, and both sizes compress for storage. Softlight fastens into their expanded shape with a simple magnet connection.
