Graphically-enhanced architectural acrylic

R-Cast Dura is a new Class A and Class I fire-rated material developed by Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc. for architectural applications. The acrylic material is formable and bondable, thus allowing a wide variety of custom shapes. It also has a 5-10% light transmission, thus backlighting produces a soft glow.

Dura is available in the R-Cast Mirage product line, allowing the reproduction of custom colors and graphics within the material. Architects and designers can select from a range of standard patterns and colors, or they may submit customized images or graphics to be reproduced on the material. Dura is well-suited for a variety of projects, such as display cases, point of purchase displays, and furniture.

The material is available in sheets as large as 4 x 8′ and in standard thicknesses of 1/4 and 1/2″—custom sheet sizes and thicknesses are also possible.
