Textile and aluminum acoustic wall panels

WAVE panel is a system of acoustic wall panels composed of fire-retardant foam covered with open-structure textiles and pressed into a matte-coated aluminum frame. Creating a acoustic panel more visually arresting than its counterparts, designers Yvonne Laurysen and Erik Mantel cut sweeping, curvilinear forms within aluminum frames used to enclose textured fabric panels. The panels are intentionally tileable, creating a seamless graphic pattern when connected. Although the fabric and metal are rendered in the same color, the different finishes express the colors differently depending on the viewing angle.
