Epoxy resin-based composite containing recycled glass

Ttura was developed as a result of a collaboration between Resin Building Products Limited and Sheffield Hallam University’s Art and Design Research Center, which has been at the forefront of research into open loop solutions for waste glass for a number of years.

Ttura is an attractive, highly versatile and durable material containing 85% recycled glass, which can be used for a variety of purposes including internal and external furniture, paving, work surfaces, flooring and architectural cladding. The recycled glass comes from automotive, industrial and post-consumer sources, and is consolidated with a solvent-free resin binder. The material can be produced to an almost infinite color pallet, using a combination of resin color and glass mix.
