Light-extending polymer-matrix panels

A variation of SensiTile Scintilla, Scintilla Lumina extends light from a single source to hundreds of reflected points along the surface of a material. Constructed of acrylic light pipes, Lumina conveys light along considerable distances in accordance with the same principles that apply to fiber optics. The translucent panel matrix performs as an image “double” for an adjacent object, reflecting the object via the profiles of individual light pipes. Using available LED technology, Scintilla Lumina will actively diffuse and reflect dynamic color sequences beyond 8 linear feet (2.4 meters) in length. Custom-designed panels make possible the integration of graphics, text, and logos.
