LLDPE rainwater storage module

Essentially a water-filled building block, Rainwater H2OG is a 51 gallon reuseable, food grade water storage module which works horizontally or vertically to provide rainwater or greywater storage either within building structure or in tight spaces in and around structure. The HOG module is sized to fit between joists and studs spaced at 600mm/24 inch centers, enabling the stored water to be used as effective thermal mass within the building envelope. The HOG thus multi-tasks to provide a facility for water reuse as well as thermal mass for energy savings.

Rainwater HOG is made of UV-stabilized LLDPE with brass threaded fittings. USA-made HOGs are available in 15% recycled material, while in Australia all HOGs are legally required to be made of virgin material. HOGs are designed to ship naked, and to easily recycle at the end of their 20 year predicted life.
