Light diffusion and control technology

MesoOptics technology offers an innovative way to purify and control light with exceptional energy efficiency. MesoOptics material is produced using proprietary patterns of microstructures that are created using holographic techniques and replicated on a suitable substrate such as acrylic, polycarbonate, or glass. These microstructures give MesoOptics material advanced optical capabilities that minimize shadows and glare and create uniquely luminous environments with enhanced visual comfort.

MesoOptics removes striations and hot spots from lighting sources, creating smooth gradients of pure, white light, free from color shifts. MesoOptics can constrain or disperse lighting for optimum control and uniformity: a wide beam of light can be constrained into a small area, or a small beam of light can be dispersed into a wider area. The microstructures can be configured to produce a range of beam shapes from linear through elliptical and circular. MesoOptics technology can also redirect light to desired angles regardless of the angle of input.

MesoOptics is a highly transmissive material that allows up to ninety-five percent of the light that enters to pass through. This enables the development of energy-efficient products that are environmentally responsible and visually healthy.
