Woven liana chaise

Liana is a category of climbing vines found in tropical and temperate forests. In some forests, overgrown liana can create congestion and is often cut down and destroyed. Liana species such as rattan are rapidly renewable plants that may be harvested several times a year.

Designed by P.I.E., the Leech chaise combines woven-liana skin and thin, welded steel wire. In this intriguing combination, liana provides strength and durability while the steel provides a shapable framework. Like other P.I.E. products, Leech is fabricated using nontoxic additives as well as low energy-consumption and pollution-free practices.
