SkinBag
feature, rubber — By Blaine Brownell on September 25, 2009 at 8:00 amSkinBag is a range of clothing and accessories fabricated from synthetic human skin. The skin is latex that is molded with creases and a texture reminiscent of human flesh. SkinBag comes in a variety of colors, the most common of which emulate known values of human skin.
According to the manufacturer, SkinBag is an extension of one’s body, a type of discarded skin that retains an identity, “a successful alchemy between the captivating and the repulsive, for a sensual fashion without complacency.” Each SkinBag is handcrafted and may be personalized with a tattoo or inscription.

I love, love new materials (love this site!) but why would anyone, ever, want to wear/use/carry something so repulsive?
If you think about it, wearing animals skin becomes not so beautifull either…
One could see an animal rights person carrying around say a purse of the stuff as a symbolic protest of using animal skins. Other than that, perhaps if they lose the wrinkles (I mean, if you are going to imitate human skin, why on earth would you pick OLD human skin) and maybe give it a bit of a tan, you might find some people that would like to go around looking topless while remaining technically legal.
