Alulight aluminum foam was designed to combine attributes such as high stiffness, low weight, and high energy absorption—qualities that enable aluminum foam to qualify for specific requirements within the automotive, aviation, railway, and engine-building industries. Aluminum foam is also suitable for architecture and interior design applications, where sound absorption, electromagnetic shielding, structural damping, flame resistance, or decorative surfacing is required.

Alulight is distinctive for its light weight (roughly five times lighter than pure aluminum) as well as its superior mechanical characteristics. Alulight is available in the form of panels and can also be produced to the customer’s specifications in complex moldings.

Alulight GmbH produces metal foams and their precursor materials as well as powder metal products.
