Developed by Transalpin, Cubix is a vending machine that generates instant furniture from 3D textiles and various composite materials. Whether a chair, table, shelf, or light, each piece is prepared and delivered in a cube measuring 6.3 × 6.3 × 6.3″ (16 × 16 × 16 cm). The furniture automatically unfolds and inflates to its desired form when the user pulls a red line supplied with the cube.

Cubix was developed for the Milan Salone Satellite in 2003 by Bjorn Blisse, Folker Koenigbauer, and Reinhard Zetsche of Transalpin.
