X-Ray Lamp

Khalili wrapped DNA and proteomic x-ray film around a simple metal wire frame and hung the fixture from the ceiling and created the X-Ray Lamp. The typical lamp is 16 inches (40.6 centimeters) tall by 12 inches (30.5 centimeters) in diameter, weighs 3 pounds (1.4 kilograms), and is comprised of x-ray film, thread, wire, adhesive, and a 120v lamp fitting. According to distributor Realm Dekor, X-Ray Lamp is “perfect décor for those who appreciate the unique graphic quality of everyday surroundings.”
