Designed by Monika Piatkowski, Cityscape elevates the notion of conventional loop pile and knotted rugs to a new dimension, moving away from thread material to the use of a dense flat medium. In its utilization of multiple layers like an architectural contour model, Cityscape creates visual interest without requiring the application of conventional 2d patterns, multiple textures, or varied materials.
